The 2013 National Stationery Show

The 2013 National Stationery Show

We’re happy to be home and settling back in at the studio after the National Stationery Show. This year, we brought our daughter Sophie along for the first time, and spent a few extra days seeing Manhattan through the eyes of a 10 year old. After eight years of hearing about our trips to NYC (and watching our favorite old New York-based movies), Sophie had a list of the places she wanted to see: Central Park Zoo, the big piano at FAO Schwarz and the view from the top of the Empire State Building. She was a pro at the show too – taking orders from many of our regular buyers and making friends with (and friendship bracelets for) our very sweet booth neighbors.

Many, many thanks to our retailers and fellow paper friends for another great show, and for stopping in to say hello. Until next May. – Gloria

It takes all year to plan for each Stationery Show. Here are a few snapshots of our booth and our prep work leading up to this year’s show. All images taken with my iPhone via instagram. Follow us on instagram @kateandbirdie.
