With 20 years of experience running the award winning creative business Kate & Birdie Paper Co., Gloria has gained a wealth of knowledge including manufacturing products, exhibiting at international trade shows, wholesaling and working with retailers worldwide, as well as licensing artwork and freelance design work.

Gloria has worked with countless independent boutiques, retail chains and manufacturers such as Chapters and Indigo, Anthropologie, Moda Fabrics, Tiny Prints, Shutterfly, Paper Source, Paperchase and Itoya Japan. She has also shared about her art career in classrooms, colleges, shops, at retreats and at women’s entrepreneur events.

With one-to-one consulting, Gloria can help you gain clarity in your creative business with anything from learning the world of surface design, developing collections, portfolio reviews, artwork reviews, wholesale and going over licensing contracts to helping provide overall guidance as you make decisions in your creative business.

Creative business owners often work alone, it can feel overwhelming at times. Booking a consulting session can help provide some insight and direction as you navigate your creative process or business goals. There is a lot of information out there. One-on-one guidance, mentorship, or some supportive encouragement from someone who has been there might be just what you need.

After you checkout, you will receive an email to set up a time for an in-person or video chat, and to get an idea of what you’d love to talk about. (Feel free to use the “Additional Notes” section at checkout to add your notes as well.) The rate is based on a one hour session block ($135/hr). For additional time, select a larger quantity (for example, a quantity of 2 for a two hour session). In-person sessions at the studio in Winnipeg can be arranged, you’ll receive location details by email.
